After reaching the final degree as computer-scientist in 1985
I founded together with friends the company COMPASS which developed a CAD/CAM-system for construction and production of staircases on cnc-machines.  Our second product was NCAD, a general, machine-independant CAD/CAM-system, more and more specialized on woodworking over the years.  Based on NCAD the german machine-producer IMA develops IMAWOP/IMAWINCAD which is installed on each IMA-cnc-machine worldwide.
Over 20 years I supported the development and the application of NCAD in customer projects at last as associate of COBUS ConCept.  In 2006 I founded  camSol .  As independent software and consulting partner camSol supports customers in the woodworking sector.
